WELCOME TO MY WORLD
A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY
It all begins with a journey, a new step into one of many pristine wildernesses that still surround us, but then ends with a declaration, a fresh statement in art.
As a landscape and wildlife artist the natural world in creation inspires me. I desire to look and experience it from a distance as well as up close in order to understand the variety of elements that it contains, its complex structures that hold it together, and the ever changing characteristics that each season presents. As a person I need to comprehend humanity’s place in it and the immense responsibility we have over it.
Working in a number of mediums on both two and three dimensional surfaces with a visual language, underlying abstract forms and a realism style, I paint, draw and sculpt this world with the hope of recreating field experiences in art form. Each composition is orchestrated so that the viewer’s eyes can move through every important aspect of the composition with rest spots offered along the way for time to linger and contemplate this amazing world.

PAINTINGS, SCULPTURES, DRAWINGS AND SKETCHES
Over the last five decades I have stepped forward to see and experience the natural world for myself. It is in the last thirty years while working as a part-time visual artist that a number of works of art expressing those experiences have been created. Now as a full-time professional artist, new paintings, sculptures, drawings and sketches are being added and exhibited online for the first time in three separate galleries for the public to see.
