“There is much in our world that makes us stop and ponder the mysteries of life. For some the stars and galaxies above provide that catalyst, especially when new technologies open our eyes to an ever deeper vision of the heavens above.

For me, it is the wonders of the natural world and the life that it contains which stir and hold me fixated. The excitement comes with seeing a majestic Bald Eagle scanning the horizon from a cliff side throne. It is the sudden dash of a Cottontail Rabbit hiding in a snow bank with sounds of approaching footsteps, and it is also the early morning fog rising on a motionless lake as a family of Common Loons break out at the beaconing call of a rising sun.

The observations I make prompt me to ask new questions as the wonders of creation open up for discovery.”

Camelback Gallery, is a Scottsdale, Arizona based virtual art gallery, which holds monthly themed online juried art competitions. These are international exhibitions with artists from over 12 countries participating.

As an artist, my observations in the field can turn into passionate expressions in art. By using two and three dimensional surfaces to draw, paint and sculpt with a realism style and abstract structures, I hope to recreate these experiences visually.

This comes with strong compositional designs that direct the eyes of the viewer through important areas with rest spots provided along the way for time to linger and appreciate the wonders of creation reflected in the art. Just as an orchestra leader directs the quality of sound coming from a symphony for the ears of the audience, so does this artist desire that the eyes come to appreciate the visual presentation.
