A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY
“There is much in our world that makes us stop and ponder the mysteries of life. For some the stars and galaxies above provide that catalyst, especially when new technologies open our eyes to an ever deeper vision of the heavens above.
For me, it is the wonders of the natural world and the life that it contains which stir and hold me fixated. The excitement comes with seeing a majestic Bald Eagle scanning the horizon from a cliff side perch. It is also the sudden dash of a Cottontail Rabbit hiding in a snow bank and it is the early morning fog rising on a like as a family of Common Loons break out.
The observations I make prompt me to ask new questions as the wonders of creation open up for discovery.”

As an artist, my observations in the field turn into passionate expressions of art. By using both two and three dimensional surfaces to draw, paint and sculpt with a realism style and abstract structures, I hope to recreate these experiences. The eyes of the viewer are guided through each important area of the composition with rest spots along the way providing time to linger and appreciate my these field experiences in art.
